A7 paper size
A7 measures 74 × 105 mm, which is 2.91 × 4.13 inches (7.4 × 10.5 cm). A7 is half of A6 and is roughly the size of a playing card.

Each A size is half the area of the one above. A7 is half of A6 and twice A8; the sides scale by 1.414 each step, so a drawing planned on A8 enlarges to A7 without cropping.

Usable drawing area with a margin
Most artists leave a margin so the drawing can be mounted and the edges stay clean.

Framing A7
Frames sized exactly to A7 are not universal, so most artists mount the drawing and choose a larger standard frame. With a mount overlapping by roughly 6 mm each side, the visible image (aperture) is about 62 × 93 mm.
Standard frames that leave at least 20 mm of mount border around a A7 sheet:
