Privacy Policy
We collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what that is.
Our free tools
The tools on this site (for example the grid and value study tools) run entirely in your browser. Images you load into them are not uploaded to our servers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies to distinguish visitors. Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner; you can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. We record anonymous events such as pages read, scroll depth, tool use, and clicks on product and checkout links.
Accounts
If you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed password with Google Firebase, so you can sign in and keep your purchases on every device. We use your email only to run your account and look up your purchases.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your email address, and the topic you were reading when you signed up, to send it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We never sell email addresses.
Payments
Paid features are bought through Stripe, which handles your card details - we never see or store them. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, the amount and your country, and may send you a receipt by email.
Checkout notifications
When someone clicks a checkout button, we send an anonymous alert to our internal team showing which page it came from. It contains no personal details.
Affiliate links
When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us through the contact page.
